Katie & Sam | Engagement

Sam hates being photographed. I mean really hates being photographed. So his and Katie's engagement session certainly required some cunning methods on my part in order to try to capture some of the relaxed and loving interaction they fell into when ever the camera wasn't pointing at Sam. Katie and Sam are a thoroughly lovely couple, and we did have a lot of fun, but boy did Sam make me work for my pictures! :D Having said that, he did swear that he'll be on his best behaviour on the wedding day in December. I'm holding you to your promise Sam! :P

We started our shoot at Borough Market and then made our way over London Bridge into the City. Ever since Carolyn & Marc's wedding, when ever I'm doing a shoot in the City I just cannot resist going back to Leadenhall Market! I went to see The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus recently, and was so excited to see that Leadenhall featured quite heavily in the film - so cool!

These look great! I love the downtown, wintery mood, and the reds really pop!
Also, I think he looks like George Clooney.

Wow, Plus one on the George Clooney!

The whole session is amazing. I really love the one of him looking off and her with her arms around him - so cute!

I thought I was the only one thinking he resembles George Clooney :)
A good looking couple like this usually has nice pictures but when you have a great photographer you get AWESOME pictures like this. Great job, love it!

Don't you just love Leadenhall market - great shots, especially if he didn't like shots being taken.

Ok, Sam totally has a look of George Clooney about him! Someone that good-looking shouldn't mind being photographed. He's going to make one smokin' groom! They make such a great-looking couple together, and I love the documentary feel you captured them with.
