I just wanted to show some love to one of my favourite wedding vendors around. Maesha & Pete‘s disc and Claire & Hywel‘s book both got delivered in lovely custom made tote bags from The Wedding Chicks (sorry about the somewhat suboptimal pics where they look crumpled to all hell!). I was doing hi-res discs of some of the engagement shoots I’ve done recently, and thought that I could share with you what my packaging looks like. When deciding the most appropriate way of delivering hi-res files of my clients’ engagement and wedding photography, I looked at a lot (and I mean a lot) of options for DVD packaging in different materials. In the end I opted for these customisable clear cases, as I wanted them to be all about the images. I think they look clean and fresh and compliment my style of photography. And it turns out I really enjoy the process of choosing and laying out the images for all the different elements of the covers and the tray as well.
Engagement shoots are a lot of fun to do, but I’m really looking forward to the start of the wedding season, which kicks off for me next month!
