Siren of the Sea is a slow, unhurried portrait session built entirely around you, your essence, and your current chapter.
This is not a photoshoot. It’s a celebration.
It seems to me that there’s a particular kind of woman who books a Siren of the Sea session. She is not someone who spends money on herself lightly. She has probably been thinking about doing something like this for months, possibly years. And she has spent most of those months finding reasons not to.
She is marking something. A birthday that feels significant. A chapter that has finally, slowly closed. A version of herself she has worked hard to become and wants to see reflected back at her. She has decided, perhaps for the first time in a long time, that she deserves a whole afternoon to herself, in one of the most beautiful places on earth, in front of a camera that sees her.
That is what a Siren of the Sea session is. It is two hours, on the clifftops or beaches of North Cornwall, designed entirely around you. We move slowly. There is no rush, no checklist, no awkward posing. You will have time to change outfits, to breathe, to forget the camera is there. We can arrange hair and makeup. Everything is built around the story you want to tell.
You do not need to be photogenic. You do not need to look a certain way. You just need to show up.

Watergate Bay. Bedruthan Steps. Fistral Beach at golden hour. The cliff paths above the ocean where the Atlantic stretches out endlessly below you and the light does things that simply do not happen anywhere else.
There is a reason women travel from London, from abroad, from across the UK to do these sessions here. Cornwall has a particular kind of wildness… soft and dramatic at once… that meets something in women who are in the middle of becoming. The landscape does half the work. You just have to stand in it.
