A Together Session is part photoshoot, part a guided hour on the coast of Cornwall built around you reconnecting, laughing, and remembering why you’re here. The photos are the beautiful by-product.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
This is not a session where you stand in front of a camera and hope for the best.
Most couples arrive at a photoshoot feeling mildly awkward. They don’t know what to do with their hands. They produce the smile they produce in every photo… the one that looks nothing like the way they actually laugh. They leave with images that are fine, technically. But they don’t quite look like themselves.
A Together Session works differently. Throughout our hour together, I’ll guide you through a series of gentle prompts, some playful, some reflective, some that will make you laugh until it hurts and some that might catch you off guard in quieter, more meaningful ways. None of it will feel like posing. Most of it will feel like spending time together.
I spent years developing and teaching this approach to couples photography, running workshops across Europe and the US, training other photographers in the technique, and refining what happens when you give two people genuine space to be with each other instead of performing for a camera. What I know from all of that is this: the real moments are always there. They just need the right conditions to surface.
The images that come from those moments are the ones you’ll return to for the rest of your lives.
WHO THIS IS FOR

Together Sessions are for couples at any stage and any chapter. They work beautifully as:
An engagement session: before the wedding, when you’re newly announced and want images that capture this particular glow. Something more intimate and more you than a standard engagement shoot.
An anniversary celebration: a gift to each other, and to your relationship. A chance to step out of the ordinary rhythm of your lives and remember, properly, what you mean to each other.
Just because: because you haven’t had a proper uninterrupted hour together in longer than you can remember. Because life is busy and full and you deserve an afternoon on the Cornish coast doing nothing but being together.
A Together Session is also a wonderful way to mark a Cornwall holiday with something more lasting than the photos on your phone.
