Last month Jasmine & Marton got married at Winchester House in Putney, and I was there to take some portraits of them. Despite a few drops of rain and freezing wind, I had such a brilliant time with these newlyweds, who smiled their way through the chilly conditions. My advice here for photographers would be to always keep a close eye on text in the background/objects. It’s difficult for the human brain to avoid reading and so distracting from the main subject of the photo. Of course, you can also use this to great effect where relevant, but for me the ‘no parking’ text on the garage shots did not enhance the feel of those shots.
But I am super fussy about these things :)
