This summer I’ve had the pleasure of seeing a lot of the UK on my adventures covering weddings across the country – it’s been really exciting getting to know parts of the country I’ve never visited before. For Kirsty & Richard’s wedding in the imposingly beautiful Tattershall Castle, I got to venture all the way out to Grimsby, and beyond.
Since the castle was quite a way away from the other venues in Grimsby, there was also a fair bit of travelling involved on the actual wedding day. But I’m not complaining, since I got to travel in style with the couple in Winston, a 1957 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud from Silver Spirit Wedding Cars, which was chauffeured by the lovely Harold. I have to say that was something I could get used to on a regular basis!
I just loved the Lincolnshire countryside, everywhere you looked was so very beautiful, and on the way to the reception I couldn’t resist getting Harold to pull over and dragging Kirsty & Rich into a field for a little portrait session!
Thanks so much guys for having me share your wedding day with you, it was so much fun! You are both such sweethearts and I wish you, and little Colbie, all the best in your future together.
Another home run, Marianne! You’re pictures make me want to move to England!
They are adorable and these are really beautiful photos. I love the way you handle light in these photos, from the beginning to the end – they are all so lovely!
Great set – what a fabulous venue and you’ve done it justice :) Lovely detail shots too.
Lovely set of images as always Marianne. Your images have such a arty feel to them
Dang Marianne. Sometimes I see your work and want to say, “no fair”. Its that good.
Wow! I love the tones and color palette in this wedding. Those shots in the field are epic!

Great location, you really used that field quite right :)
All I can think is how this couple MUST get a canvas of one of the wide shots in the field!! S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G! I always love looking at your work.
I always really love the way you capture moments – beautiful wedding as usual!
Your story telling…….these couple shots……so very beautiful……I am besotted with the photos of them in the field!!!
Loooveee the stair photos!
Beautiful Marianne! Love the fields of grass!
Czarno białe fotografie są bardzo efektowne ale kolorowe lepiej oddają atmosferę ceremoni ślubnej.
Love it! I wish we had places like that here… The US just doesn’t have Castles like that!
Nice colors and scenery match the couple in every single way :) well done.
