Sirpa & Timo | Elopement

May 25, 2011 · 23 Comments

Sirpa & Timo have been together for a long time, and when they finally decided to make it ‘official’, they knew that they wanted for the day to be a private event, something for just the two of them. So they planned an elopement, where they travelled from Finland to London to tie the knot at the The Finnish Church in Rotherhithe, keeping it a secret from all their friends and family back home until the deed was done. This wedding most definitely wins the ‘smallest wedding I’ve ever been a part of’ award, I even had the honour of being a witness! I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed being part of such an intimate day. Thank you Sirpa & Timo for allowing me to share such a special moment in your lives.

MY WORD MARIANNE this is gorgeous. Seriously great work. Others have said it already, but your use of color to tie it all together is fabulous.

    1. I love elopments. 2. I love your work Marianne. 3. I want that “LONDON” cookie. 4. That last shot needs to be printed out on canvas and hung in their house right away.

I think that just about covers it. :) Great work Marianne.
