I just had to share this shot from Caroline & Ben’s wedding from last Saturday, as I think it’s one of my favourite pictures I’ve taken so far this year. I still have another wedding to edit before I get to the rest of the images from this one, but I just couldn’t resist having a peek to see whether this came out like I thought it did when I took it.
inspiring:)as always..
i love this image. I love all your work! I check your site and flickr at least 2 times a week. Your work is so unique fresh and different. I've been following your work since 2007 maybe even a little before when you were on deviantart. I wish I had an ounce of your talent your work really inspires me to become a photographer some day! Just thought I should say thanks . Apologize if this is a strange comment, but you make me want to photograph everyday and continue to develop and refine my photographic eye. So thank you Marianne!!
Thank you so much… This kind of comment is both a bit mind blowing, and utterly inspiring at the same time. We experience and process life mostly internally and in an isolated manner, photographs for me are a way of sharing pieces of how I experience the world, but I don't ever really think that they would have any sort of profound affect on anyone. It's a precious gift to find out that they might in some small way influence someone else's creativity. Thank you for that.
That photograph is just absolutely stunning. It literally is hauntingly beautiful.
This is a beautiful shot – definitely one I want to frame! Very excited to see the rest you took of our wedding….
So glad you like it Caroline! I’m so happy it worked out the way I envisioned. :) Your pictures are now next in line, can’t wait to get stuck in! x
I love you pictures and follow your work for inspiration on my London wedding (with hope of also booking you).
Caroline – Fab pictures looks like you had a great day! I am considering having my wedding at the Crypt are you pleased with how things turned out with the venue/Bleedin heart? (Hope you don’t mind me asking?)
Thanks!
