Erin & Ben | Engagement

October 16, 2009 · 22 Comments

Erin & Ben’s engagement shoot in Marylebone got rescheduled so many times due to multitude of obstacles such as calendar conflicts, being in different countries, and illnesses, that I was starting to despair over whether we would ever manage to get together. I am so glad we did in the end! Erin and Ben are just uber cute, totally cool and up for anything, which made this session really fun for me. It’s not often you manage to persuade your clients to lie in the middle of the road for example. :D I’m sure their wedding in Hong Kong next year will be as cool and fun as they are.

Thank you so much for being such good sports Erin and Ben, I hope you like the results!

Marianne, beautiful, as always! Your images are so magical. There is 'something' I can't put my finger on that I love.
I am just going to hang out here and stalk your blog if that's ok!

I love the lines in this shoot.. the one 8th from the bottom is so 3-d it's unreal… Great use of symmetry and environment…

Ive been watching you grow over these past few months Marianne, you definitely have established a sense you your own unique style. I love all the little details, the way you've placed the rings on the leaves, the cropped images bringing more emphasis to the couple characteristics, what a joy to see a fellow uk 'tog doing so well!
