Junebug Weddings The Best of the Best 2011

January 5, 2012 · 12 Comments

As some you might already know from facebook, earlier this week my mind was blown by the news that a picture of mine was chosen for Junebug Wedding’s Best of the Best 2011 list. Junebug is known for promoting the highest quality of wedding photography and their annual ‘Best of’ list consists of 50 of the finest wedding images from all over the world. Below is my image (from Niki and Steve‘s wedding), chosen from 5000 entries. It’s such an honour to be listed alongside some incredible artists!

And as if that wasn’t enough, today I got the news that another one of my images (of Clare & Dylan, below) had gotten an ‘honourable mention’ for emotional content, which, to me, feels like an even greater achievement. All in all, Junebug has made this week pretty special. Thank you so so much!

That is a stunning photo, I have done many stairway shots myself and love them but this concept of everyone looking down towards the bride is unique….. well done!
