I’m sorry, I’ve been very bad at blogging lately. I’m going to fix that, soon, but before I get to it properly here’s a little something from the April issue of Professional Photography magazine. Recently, they asked me some questions about how I do my bookkeeping, and I got to praise Light Blue Software (which I love!), and in the end, my ramblings got featured across a whole page, which was unexpectedly nice!

It was amazing to see Alev & Can’t South of France wedding featured over 10 pages in Martha Stewart Weddings Spring-Summer 2015 issue in Turkey! This wedding was just the loveliest, and it was amazing to work with Lavender & Rose Weddings, can’t wait to do it again next month!
It was such a pleasure to plan and shoot this spring flower editorial with Steph of Fairy Nuff Flowers for Mennään naimisiin! (Let’s get married!) magazine in Finland. We also shot DIY tutorials for creating some of the flowery touches Steph designed, and I love how they laid everything out in the feature, everything looks so pretty. I’ve feel slightly embarrassed that I completely forgot to share this piece of press at the time it was published! I’m talking at a super exciting new photography festival called SNAP next month, and Photo Professional magazine ran a brilliant article on it a few months back. It was a nice surprise to see my image used full spread at the beginning of the piece (and to be referred to as ‘big name in the field! Ha.). I’m so excited to be a part of this new endeavour, and I’m sure SNAP will be a roaring success and that there will be many more to come in the future!
Over in the UK, a DIY shoot I did for Bridal Musings got featured in Wedding magazine.
Florence & Alvaro’s South of France wedding had a 7-page feature in Mennaan Naimisiin magazine in Finland!
Also in Mennaan Naimisiin, our Pink & Turquoise shoot with Fairy Nuff Flowers continued making waves.
And last but certainly not least, Rachel & Alexander’s Northbrook Park wedding day got featured in Wedding magazine.
I’ve been on a bit of an office de-cluttering kick (you can see my inspiration board de-cluttering over at Her Lovely Heart), and one of the things I did was to find all the hard copies of magazines with my work in, which were taking up shelf space in the office. It seemed crazy to waste so many shelves to back copies of old magazines I don’t read, so I decided to just save tear sheets of each in a folder (which turned into two). It was quite overwhelming to go through all the old issues, reminiscing over brilliant days and lovely couples. I could’t quite dump them all into recycling before taking a little snap to keep. Of course, after I’d restored the living room floor back to normalcy, I found another shelf-load of issues, but it’s ok, I think this photo will still be enough of a memory.
As an experience it was both proud and humbling, I guess you don’t really realise how the years stack up until you have such physical evidence. Thank you to all the magazines and lovely Editors who have featured my work over the years, and thank you to all my sassy clients who were the real stars of the show.

Ah, such good memories from Jo & Tom’s wedding in Cornwall! It was lovely to see this wedding featured in the September/October issue of You & Your Wedding magazine.
I was interviewed about Beloved for Kamera magazine in Finland. I was pleased that they used so many images and gave me 6 pages!
Sarah & Boris’ (rainy!) Hampton Court Palace wedding was featured in the Perfect Wedding magazine.
Caroline & Andrew’s pretty garden wedding is featured on the pages of the May/June issue of US based Flower magazine. Looking at these images again makes me wish summer would hurry up already!
I loved reminiscing over Julie & Ryan‘s gorgeous Preston Court wedding, which is featured in the current issue of Wedding Flowers magazine. Flowers by the ever-amazing Euphoric Flowers.
I was cleaning up the office and found the December issue of F2 magazine, with my interview in. Had completely forgotten to share this. The image is of course from the amazing wedding of Binky and Dazzy!

I returned home from Denver, where I gave a talk at the inspirational Business as an Artform retreat, to the amazing news that one of my photos has been chosen to be included in Junebug Weddings Best of the Best Engagement photos of 2013! It is always such an honour when your photo gets chosen by Junebug, as the competition is pretty fierce and the standard of photography incredible (a fact that makes me blush a little bit!). Thank you so much, Junebug Weddings, it is truly an honour!
A while back Photo Professional magazine interviewed me about the Beloved interaction technique for portrait photographers, and the issue with the finished article is out now. I feel like it’s the best, most concise explanation on Beloved that I’ve managed to convey through a magazine article yet, so I’m personally very pleased!
It’s been a while! But it is a fresh new year (gosh, how is it already the latter part of February??) and after a few months of hibernation and behind-the-scenes tinkering it’s time for new adventures, as well as some new glossy pages featuring my lovely beaming couples + two pretty girls with pretty tresses & dresses.

In the Nov/Dec issue of You & Your Wedding magazine, Polly & Jack talked about their decision to downsize their wedding.
Mia & Andrei’s yellow accented wedding got featured in the Nov/Dec issue of Brides magazine.
Fanfare, please! It is such a relief to finally be able to share these big news. When I found out over a month ago that I had been chosen to be featured as one of Rangefinder Magazine’s ’30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography’, I was pretty gobsmacked and so very honoured. Unfortunately I was under strict orders not to tell ANYONE (like really, no-one!), until the issue was published. That was the hardest thing ever!
So, it’s such a joy to be finally able to celebrate this achievement properly. This list has included some of the now biggest names in the industry in the past, and I’m certainly in very good company this year too. It’s also humbling to be the only UK photographer, on the list, I’m not sure if there ever has been one on there before (not to mention a Finn!).
A huge thank you to all the people I’ve worked with, you’re the ones who make it all possible. Bottoms up!

Drum roll, please! During the past year I’ve been involved in an exciting book project with a French wedding blog, Un Beau Jour. The cat is finally out of the bag, and the book – filled with mostly my images – in now in the shops. Woop!
