Rebecca & Andi | Engagement

July 12, 2009 · 3 Comments

When I headed off to Becks & Andi’s engagement shoot I was looking at the dark clouds trying to wish them away. And it seems that did work to a certain extent, as we only got a few drizzles towards the end of our session.

Becks & Andi are getting married in Cornwall next summer (hands up who can’t wait!! Me me me!) so we were out on a hunt for some appropriate street signs to incorporate into the pictures. I also got to break out my new toy, a 45mm tilt & shift lens, which was an early birthday present to myself. Can I just say, I think I’m in LOVE with it! <3 Like seriously.

I had so much fun with Becks & Andi, and they were up for anything, even standing in the middle of a roundabout (we did have to run off a few times when cars wanted to use the road, weird). Afterwards we went for a tea and talked about all their plans for their Cornwall wedding, which is going to be absolutely amazing. Thanks so much guys for being so cool, and for finding me in the first place!

I love it – the tilt shift makes for such a funky look to such English scenes – great photos

Beautiful stuff! :) My favourites are those, 4th down, with the road beautifully out of focus in the background. And the ones in the circle too! I love shooting on roads… it is indeed weird that all those cars seem to mind sometimes!
