The original concept for this shoot might have started as something completely different and the circumstances, the weather, and the tide might have been against us, but in the end, I think this is where we were meant to end up. These were the images that we were supposed to create. The wind, the rugged Cornish coast, the modern bridal vibe, it all came together perfectly. I guess sometimes you just have to let go, enjoy the journey, and trust that it all works out!

It was such a pleasure to work with such an amazing team, and I fell head over heels in love with this separates gown by Ailsa Munro and the wildly perfect flowers by This Rugged Coast. I hope you enjoy looking at these windswept images as much as I enjoyed shooting them!

You know how every year Steph from Fairynuff Flowers and me aim to do one inspirational shoot together, just to get our creative juices going? Like our Pink & Turquoise shoot, a styled Beloved session with Minna, or last year’s bridal hair shoot at Fetcham Park. Well this year we decided to go even bigger, and a few weeks ago we were lucky enough to get to shoot at the amazing Aynhoe Park. And since the timing worked out well, we decided to make it a Her Lovely Heart shoot, and involve the rest of the team too. I just had to share some of my favourite behind the scenes images here too, but you can see more behind the scenes photos from me, and everyone else, on this post on Her Lovely Heart.

Lucy Bridal | Wedding

I just realised that now that the groom has well and truly seen his bride and the dress, I can show you some more images from Lucy’s bridal session. This is when Lucy tried her finished dress on for the first time. I really do love it’s colour and the details, such as the detachable train. Wedding pictures will still have to wait for a while I’m afraid!

Today I went to take some bridal portraits of Lucy while she tried her wedding gown on for the first time since it was finished. It really is a gorgeous and unique wedding dress, but I can’t show it on here yet as there is always the danger of the groom seeing it before the big day next week! So instead, here are a few shots of Bridie, who is also the bridesmaid. She took every opportunity to steal the spotlight away from the beautiful bride! :D
