Cliffside Engagement Session in Cornwall

Technically, these two cuties are already married, but because of the timing of their nuptials, they didn’t have an opportunity to arrange a proper wedding party until now. While the ceremony on the day will be called a Vow Renewal, the day is most definitely a genuine wedding day for them and their family. They even travelled down to Cornwall for their engagement session, which I couldn’t have been happier about!

These two are possibly the sweetest couple I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending time with, and I can’t wait for their London wedding day in just a few weeks!

Springtime Family Session in London

It’s that time of year when I get to make frequent trips to London, both for weddings but also for sweet Family Sessions like these. I’ve photographed Marie & Jens a couple of times over the years, but this time was made super special by the addition of little Oscar. We had to do some serious cajoling to get this little man in the mood for photos, but when he did… well, just look at that adorable smile!

I would also like to thank the kindly pigeons of St James’ Park for their assistance in ‘operation smile’. :D

Tara & Simon : A Cornish Together Session on the Beach

Ah, Cornwall in the Spring! In the beginning of March, I got to spend some time with Tara & Simon, who are getting married next month at their beautiful house in North Cornwall. The couple wanted their engagement session to take place on their local beach (how amazing is it to live in a place where you have a local beach, or five!), so we headed down to Constantine Bay.

To me, there’s really nothing better than a walk on the beach smelling the sea air and listening to waves crashing in. Needless to say, I enjoyed every minute of this session!

I can’t wait to see these two tie the knot in just a month’s time, it’s going to be a good one!

Anne & Archie : A summer evening engagement session

In my opinion, London is at it’s best on a gentle late summer’s evening. There’s a sweetness in the air that smooths the rougher edges of the always bustling city. I thoroughly enjoyed walking through their beautiful neighbourhood for Anne & Archie’s engagement session, and I can’t wait for their big day next year!

Chiujung & Poyu : A sunny London engagement session

Generally, I’m very much a parks and nature, cliff tops and the ocean kind of girl, but I have to say that from time to time a super colourful and urban London engagement session can really refresh your senses and eyes.

Chiujung & Poyu wanted to find as much colour as possible for their engagement shoot, so on a hot summer’s day, we headed to Brick Lane in search of interesting street art, before finishing the session off at the most colourful (and busy!) spot of the city, Piccadilly Circus.
